self esteem exercises for adults

Do you always see obesity as a lack of discipline or do you look at each person’s situation objectively?
Be honest. I have pretty good self esteem (not perfect) but sometimes I feel misunderstood or misjudged. Ive been obese my entire life and I honestly dont know how it got so bad. Im 20 years old now and weigh 225 lbs and 5′4. I already weighed over 200 lbs in 5th grade and reached 250 in 10th grade. Now that I’m an adult I feel like people will look at me like I am a slob, but in reality I was obese before I even knew the word obesity exisited. Im also insulin resistant and used to have a thyroid problem. Its frustrating to think that some people will always see me as a disgusting pig, even though I’ve spent my entire adult life trying to eat right and exercise. I feel like I shouldnt be blamed for becoming 100 lbs overweight in elementary school.
oops. i meant subjectively
Sadly people do judge you on your appearance without giving any thought to your circumstances.I used to be skinny and toned and then I had a disabling accident and piled on the pounds, sadly it does change the way people think about you.
