What is your best crack at a rational defense (or things you can say in support) of the claim that God Exists?
Give me an argument or a rationale or a story or something. Tell me what you are experiencing in your mind. What grounds do you have to support your religious beliefs?
There is no purely rational defense of Religion, and honestly, none is needed. I will speak for only me now. I am Muslim, I believe in Islam, because I have read the Quran, and a lot of the most prominent holy books from all religions, and Islam just makes the most sense to me. On top of this, it gives me a sense of inner peace like nothing else can. Praying and reflecting on God makes me feel good, and is an extremely positive thing within my life.
As far as a rational defense goes. Like I mentioned earlier, I don’t believe one is needed. The Quran highlights a lot of facts about life and the world, many of which we have only been able to recently prove/discover with science. To get a list of these facts, check out Dr.Zakir Naik, he is quite good at explaining them. Since the Quran is in sync with concrete scientific understanding, I see no rational explanation that suggests that God does not exist. At least through the eyes of the Quran.
