Lucasi Jump
How about the Lucasi jump break cue?
Is it a good cue for general purposes? I like to be able to easily take it apart for jumping, but I won’t consider buying a cue like it, unless you can shoot with it too (or any break/jump cue).
And while I’m at it, Ozone Billiards has a Lucasi break cue on sale. It doesn’t say the shaft is like the hybrid models, but it says it is eight pieces. Would that construction cause low deflection when paired with a short ferrule and hard tip? Also, how is a uniloc radial pin different than any pin that screws into wood? Is it just faster?
first i wouldn’t buy a break jump cue unless it had a phenolic tip.
2nd a uniloc pin is the best, it has only 3 threads in the back, so it slips right on with 3 turns of the cue, unlike others, you have to screw them together for 30 sec.
i am not a great fan of cue-tec, but my buddy has one, and it breaks great and jumps dam good too. gl.
