Reading Writing

How is learning basic math, spelling, reading and writing considered acts of ‘liberal indoctrination’?
Since some conservatives believe that our entire nation’s history has taken a ‘left-wing’ slant, what about basic math, spelling, reading, and writing?
Should they also be condemned for being part of the liberal plot to ‘indoctrinate’ our nation’s kids in a vain effort to brainwash the whole lot of them…?
If so, what can conservatives do to *avoid* such subjects? Do they have replacements upon which to drill into their kids that could equal the above list of school curriculum?
First of all, I could read, write and do basic math before I ever entered kindergarten. More children should be so fortunate.
Second, the liberal indoctrination comes from how our HISTORY is taught, IF it is taught. A good example is Benedict Arnold; school never taught me what his act of treason was. The Constitution? That was my father; he literally would quiz me on it while cutting firewood. The US Code? Again, my father.
However, public school was more than willing to show me how to use a condom (which my father also taught me) and where my closest planned parenthood was. They were willing to tell me of the wrongs of the settlers against the natives, but neglected the wrongs of the natives towards the settlers. My “social studies” teacher spent more time on socialism and its economics than he did Adam Smith. That’s what I can remember right now.
If the system refuses to teach the Constitution at least, how can we honestly say they are serving America interest for next generation?
