How do you help your mother build self esteem and confidence?
My mom doesn’t really have any friends and she worries to much. she is in her mid 50’s and currently i support her. she has been looking for a job but no luck… i do things like say nice job and complement her a lot on the stuff she does…
I love her very much and i want to see her happier and with friends…, but how does someone make friends at 50? Just need some few hints and idea’s thanks
Good luck with your mum. Just relish your time together now. Be her friend and confidant, while asking her advise on things that you really dont need help with. That will help her think she is still NEEDED. My mum has been dead for five years now, and I miss her still very much. best wishes
